Born in Mexico, and raised in the California Central Coast, Ricardo Macías graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2006 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History. Ricardo earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2011, and was admitted to the State Bar of California later that year. Mr. Macías is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. After law school, Mr. Macías acquired trial and hearings experience prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office. During law school, Mr. Macías externed with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Appellate Division, and volunteered for the Public Law Center. In October 2012, Mr. Macías joined Valencia & Associates, APC and is an associate with the firm. He is a member of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association.
